Individual Apple Crumble

Yield: 6 desserts using 9oz ramekins


  • Apple Filling
  • 6 apples
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

    Crumble topping
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • Optional 1 pint vanilla ice cream

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Peel and slice apples into 1 inch pieces. Put sliced apples into a large bowl.
  3. To the large bowl, add lemon juice, sugar, flour and cinnamon. Stir until apples are fully coated.
  4. Spoon apples into ramekins, about 3/4 full, and set aside.

  5. In a large bowl, stir together flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and salt.
  6. Once fully combined, pour in melted butter and stir until all the dry ingredients are well saturated and mixture is crumbly.
  7. Evenly diving the crumble mixture on top of the apples.
  8. Place ramekins on a baking sheet and then into the oven.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes.
  10. Allow too cool for 5 minutes before topping with ice cream and serving.
