Angel Food Cake
Yield: 1 cake
Ingredients
- Angel food cake boxed mix
- 1 1/3 cup water *follow your box's instructions
- 1 tub thawed cool whip
- 2 cups vanilla or banana pudding
- About 2 containers of strawberries, as as many as you'd like
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Mix together the cake mix and water.
- Do not grease the pan. Pour batter into angel food pan.
- Follow the directions on the box for bake time. Bake until the top is dark golden brown and not sticky.
- As soon as you take the cake out of the over, flip it upside down and place on the neck of a glass bottle (such as a wine bottle)
- While the cake is cooling, prepare the frosting. In a large bowl combine the cool whip and pudding.
- Once cake has cooled, flip it right side up. Run a knife along the edge of the cake to loosen the sides. Once cake is out of pan, flip upside down to get ready for decorating. You want the wider part on the cake as the bottom.
- Cover the cake with as much or as little frosting as you'd like.
- Wash and slice the strawberries and place them on the cake.
