Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

Yield: Enough for 24 cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 (8oz) brick of cream cheese
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 3 1/4 cups icing sugar

Instructions

  1. Beat butter and cream cheese until well combined and smooth. About 5 minutes.
  2. Mix in vanilla and salt.
  3. Gradually add in the cocoa powder and icing sugar mixing in slowly.
  4. Once all combined, beat for 5 minutes to smooth out.
